Questions For you.

I have been back from New York for about a week now. My sister showed me a lot of stores in soho that we don't have were I live. One of my favortie stores being Uniqlo,. If you haven't heard of this you should visit their website. http://www.uniqlo.com/us/ As my sister explained what kind of store they are she said they have a lot of clothing collection starters. Shirts in different colors with different collars, leggings in all colors.. etc.
For about 50 dollars I because the owner of a yellow v-neck t-shirt for about 6 dollars, a sea foam green scarf for about 7, sea foam green leggings for about 5 dollars, and a zip up jacket for 20 something. Sadly I already don't know where the jacket is. Hopefully it has just become one with my enormous pile of laundry.

Here are some pictures being in Virginia and New York.

I wanted to ask you all a few questions, my readers who are out there...
Where is your favorite store?

What about the color you own the most of?

Favorite clothing item?

By plane... By train... By bus...

I'm on my way to New York on a bus. The place that is know for it's fashion. Yes, I am thrilled and basically jumping out of my skin to be back to the place that first inspired me to try becoming involved in fashion. My sister offered to buy me a magazine before we left and she showed me the magazine rack. I pick out one, then another, then another! Everything looked so interesting. I recently threw out all my magazines. (about 4 years of a collection). It had become such a clutter. But now I seem to fall back into my ways buying 3 magazines in one sitting.

Sadly, my poor sewing machine is still broken. Which does upset me a lot because I would love to be able to buy fabrics and begin sewing again, it has been to long. I had a dream the other night about going to these great vintage stores and buying an abundance of clothes. I woke up with tears in my eyes because I realized it wasn't true. So. I told my boyfriend we had to go shopping.

Lately I have begun to hate the mainstream fashion more then usual. I hate the repeat of clothing and the set backs to high waste and florals. As much as I love those they are like skinny jeans, once they become popular .you drop them and find a new trend.

I know I haven't written much lately, and I know I'm all over the board today, but it's because i have so much I haven't written down in so long. Yes my closet full of clothes has become a broken record, and that's exactly why I'm so excited for New York. As many people know --or at least should know-- the fashion in the east coast is usually very ahead of the west coast. There for I can see what will be in style next for the west coast. Sadly I visited H&M in Washington D C and fount nothing to my interest. Their first floor was more classic date night clothes, ALL NEUTRALS. Yes I do love neutral clothes, but no, I do not buy them. Neutrals only look good on a very select number of skin types, mine not included. Being a yellowish tone neutrals make me fade away. And all women should work with what they are given. Just enhance it and find the unique beauty. That was/is hard to find on a daily basis for me. Some days I can "work it" some I'd rather pack on the makeup and make it do my job.

But that's my ten cents today. I'm beginning to get bus sick. I'll try to write soon.
